HOW IT ALL STARTED
In 2015, Lisa Leggz curated the “Divinely Feminine” exhibit for Art Basel Miami to showcase her vision for a much needed contribution to the world centered around providing a safe space for & to uplift women.
The owner of the property recognized the passion, determination & dedication to something greater and provided the keys to the entire complex, extending the exhibit so that the AOH team could continue to serve the community and facilitating the birth of Art of Healing.

THE MISSION CONTINUES…
Since that very first Art Basel Miami exhibit in 2015, the Art of Healing team has acquired multiple locations in different inner-city areas in an effort to spark hope and provide options and resources to the severely underserved of the Miami inner cities, which led to an organic expansion of our programming.
Our Art Museum facilitates interactive art experiences and exhibits fueaturing local talent and the youth of our free after school arts program. Our theme for Art Basel Miami this year and our 10th anniversary celebration is “Paradise Awakened” with an emphasis on climate justice and the preservation of our planet.
